#Jeyna Logging In…
Premiered on January 21, 2013, The Following is one TV series that has left people wanting more after its pilot. The plot revolves around a former FBI agent, Ryan Hardy, who is called back to duty because a psychopath he caught had escaped from prison. This psychopathic serial killer, Joe Carroll, was once a professor, teaching the works of Edgar Allen Poe. With Poe’s work as his reasoning, Carroll killed many of his female students.
When he was sent to prison, Carroll managed to create a fan base through the prison library. These fans formed a network of copycats under the orders of Carroll. It is now up to Ryan Hardy to bring them all in before one man’s insanity creates waves of mass murder.
Personally, I thought this was an interesting TV series. I’m not a fan of crime dramas, but I do enjoy psychopathic criminal dramas such as Criminal Minds. Unlike Criminal Minds, The Following follows the journey of one serial killer and his cult, which makes each episode connected to the other.
Currently, 8 episodes have been released. There will be a total of 15 episodes for season one. Starring Kevin Bacon, Shawn Ashmore and James Purefoy, this series is rated 8.1 on IMBD; that’s a good rating for a TV series.
If you are watching, or have watched the pilot episode of The Following, what do you think about it?
Do you think it has potential to keep the suspense going, or do you think it would flop like many other new TV series’?

Fantastic new series. Wait till you watch episode 6, you’ll be shocked….suspense
